Hello Monty!
What can I say, I've won three row now in our major Boxstock 12 series race using your RTR. There are 2 races left and if I win the next one, I would wrap up the series even with one race left.
It was a difficult race overall because everyone came prepared with new blueprinted motors and new full out RTRs. I was not even the fastest this time maybe a tenth of a second slower but the car's consistency in all the lanes was what spelled the difference and also some luck avoiding several crashfest. In the end, I was 15 laps ahead of the second placer. My son, did not do too well this time as his car got caught in some of the crashfest although, as a saving grace, his motor was faster than mine this time.
Before the race, I pulled down the motor on my car and had the arm trued and the magnets zapped. After break-in, the motor was pulling over 4 amps at 3 volts.
However, what I noticed after track testing is the motor lost a bit of torque so I had to gear down from 9/38 to 9/39.
Regards,
Enrico
