Did anybody watch the the Champ car race from Cleveland? Wheel banging, spin outs, aggressive young drivers and real PASSING! The GP of Canada was the usual parade the Europeans seem to love, but they love soccer too! I for one can't wait till Champ cars and Tony George reunite with a 16 race, 24 car series that's half road races and half oval. It would be a hell of a show!

You forgot to mention that ChampCar races generally have decent paddock access for the fans, Q&A forums and a ghost of a chance to get a driver autograph.

Try that at an F1 race without having VIP creds....

Over 750 HP with no traction control. Airport runways make for some daring passing moves, worst that happens is you end up in the grass.

Or another car sitting square on top of your head.

that was pretty good. I can just picture Tracy nailing the gas peddle while cursing..." get out of my way you little French _ _ _ _ _ " !!

Classic Tracy, think of how dangerous this guy could be if you were to enclose all four wheels ??

I went to the houston race and had a great time. Nothing like indy style cars on a street course under the lights. The track was bumpy as hell, but it made for a big challange for those guys. The relaint stadium course is alot better of a venue than the old downtown course. Personally i thought the Atlantic series put on the best show all weekend.
