I have a pro slot end bell with the bushing spun in it.I have a new bushing for it and it does not fit tight. What is the best epoxy to use on it?What's the cause of this?I know over oiling is one possibility but shouldn't there be a little more seating area for the bushing and the bushing be wider?

thanks,

You can use JB Weld, Locktite Black Max, or just locktite super glue.

Before you set the bushing in place, make sure that your hard ware is removed, a slug is placed in the can, and endbell is secured to the can with the bushing sliding on the shaft of the slug. Oh, don't forget to clean the end bell to remove any oil or chemical residue. Some also rough up the edge or flange of the bushing so the glue or epoxy will stick better. Once this is done place a small amount of glue or epoxy on the end of the bushing and slide into place using tweezers or other small instrument. Wait for it to fully cure before removing the end bell and slug.
